HIIT For Stress

Give this HIIT workout a try for an easy to follow and stress-relieving workout. The happy endorphins and positive energy that a good workout brings you is addictive.

Get started by grabbing a towel, water bottle and a timer. Finish with a slow stretch and a mini meditation. Total time 40 mins.

1 minute rounds, 2 cycles per circuit:

Circuit 1:

  1. Core plank

  2. Push ups

  3. Mountain climbers

Circuit 2:

  1. Rowing machine

  2. Treadmill run

  3. Bike on medium resistance

Circuit 3:

  1. Dumbbell squat to press: Using 2 dumbbells lower them into between the legs as you squat, maintaining an open chest and shoulder back. As you rise from the squat press the dumbbells overhead into a shoulder press.

  2. Walk out and reach (from knees or from standing)

  3. Side plank (rotate at 30 seconds)

Circuit 4:

  1. Froggies

  2. Clean and press

  3. Crunch raises

Circuit 5:

  1. Hip raises

  2. Plie squats

  3. High kicks (switch legs at 30 seconds in)
